NEUROAFFIRMING THERAPY SERVICES

Talking therapy that respects how you think, sense and experience the world – and builds on it, rather than working against it.

What is Neuroaffirming Therapy?

Everyone experiences the world differently. Neuroaffirming therapy takes that seriously. Rather than working towards a fixed idea of how you 'should' think or behave, we start from where you are and grow from there. Person-centred, neuroscience-informed, and shaped around you.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • A free initial conversation – no commitment, no pressure

  • A first session to understand what's brought you here

  • A shared agreement on how we'll work together

  • Usually 60-minute sessions, pay-as-you-go – no minimum contract

  • Ongoing, collaborative and responsive – we adapt as we go

ABOUT ME

I'm a BACP-registered psychotherapist with a background in molecular biology, 25 years in education – including headship – and specialist experience working with neurodivergent children, adults and their families. I qualified in July 2025.

MY APPROACH

I take time to understand you and your needs before anything else. The first stage of any therapeutic work is building enough trust that the room – virtual or physical – feels safe. We agree a framework together, revisit it regularly, and you can ask me anything at any point.
